How do you work out the fare shown in the app?
We get fare information from a variety of data sources. Bus price information comes from Traveline Scotland, Rail fare information comes from RailEasy.
If you haven’t created an account, the fares shown reflect adult tickets only. If you have created an account and told us that you are under 16, have a concessionary travel pass, a railcard or another discount entitlement these will all be reflected in the prices shown to you.
Car club and taxi pricing information is gathered manually by our team and an algorithm we have developed determines what price estimate to display. The estimate is based on the distance, time and date of your planned journey and, in the case of car club, the type of vehicle available from the pickup location the journey planner has identified as the most suitable.
